Ruby Wedding Anniversary Poem (11 verses)

Sample Verses

Verse 2
It’s a tale of love and devotion, that was set in motion
When Tommy, fond of his rock n’ roll
Fell for a young Dancing Queen, by the name of Jean
And gave her his heart and soul!

Verse 3
Jean’s first gut feeling left this young butcher reeling
Unimpressed by his ‘Teddy Boy’ look,
In fact, she made it quite clear he’d made a pig’s ear
And nearly told him to sling his ‘hook’!

Verse 4
So Dad nearly ‘missed the boat’, all because of a coat,
Of which Mum wasn’t too keen,
So in the name of passion, he changed his fashion,
In order to ‘woo’ young Jean!

Verse 6
Their very first date was in May ‘68
And give him his due, young Tom didn’t moan
When their romantic liaisons down at Caissons
Included Jean’s Gran as a chaperone!

Lesley and Richard Hunter wed in a romantic, fairytale castle on 26th June 2004. They met when Lesley, aged 17, booked a holiday for Richard and his friends in the travel agent where she worked. Some say it was their ‘passport to love….!’

A White Wedding in the Bright Light City!

“The waiters came out with roses, and when Stephen proposed I burst into tears. The waiters and all the other patrons of the restaurant then burst into rapturous applause, whilst I was still sobbing and sniveling”!

Kimberley and Stephen Moss met in 1997 and were married in Las Vegas on 2nd April 2008. The ceremony was held at the Wedding Chapel at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, and the reception followed at the hotel’s exclusive China Grill restaurant. The blissfully happy couple then toasted their special day with cocktails in the Mix Bar on the 65th floor, overlooking the Las Vegas strip. Following that, the wedding party hit the casino!
